In this laid-back yet informative tour of Mazunte (a small and quiet beach town), you’ll discover a whole new face of Oaxacan culture. Leaving from Puerto Escondido at 8:30 am, we’ll drive to the village of Ventanilla for a relaxed bit of bird watching at a nearby Laguna. After this, we’ll head to Mazunte. On the roster, we’ll visit a natural cosmetics factory to learn about Mazunte’s role in the natural cosmetics industry, then head to the National Mexican Turtle Centre. Here, we’ll explore the museum, learning all about sea turtles, land turtles and freshwater turtles. After this, it’s time to unwind! We’ll head to Mexico’s first and only legal public nude beach: Playa Zipolite. Here, you can swim, relax and enjoy a nice lunch on the beach. We’ll return to Puerto Escondido around 6:00 pm.
